Q: Where can I order?
A: Nativo Naturals’ training treats and single-source dog chews are available on this website, through authorized direct-to-consumer websites, and Amazon.

Q: Can I purchase Nativo Naturals in stores?
A: Currently, Nativo Naturals are only available via online marketplaces.

Q: When will my order ship?
A: Orders typically ship within 24 hours of receipt of order. 

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Orders placed through our website are shipped via ground delivery from our warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. Depending on where you live, you’ll typically receive your order within two to four business days. Orders placed via Amazon Prime should be received within the normal ship windows for Prime customers.

Q: How can I track my order?
A: When we process your order, we’ll assign a tracking number and email that to you once the order has been picked, packed and is ready for shipment.

Q: I live outside of the United States. Can I place an order?
A: Yes you can but extra shipping charges will apply. We recommend that you contact us first at info@nativopet.com to determine shipping costs.

Q: What if I’m not satisfied with my order? What is your return policy?
A: We want you and your family completely satisfied with your purchase. If for some reason you are not, please contact our customer support team via email at info@nativopet.com or phone at (833) 628-4867 and we’ll do our very best to make things right.

Q: Where are your products sourced?
A: Nativo Naturals are sourced and made in North America. We do our very best to make sure everything is USA sourced and made, but because of seasonal availability of the produce ingredients used in our Num Nums, at certain times of the year we may need to source our produce from different regions of North America. Be assured that we follow strict FDA guidelines and testing to ensure the best quality for you and your family.

Q: Do products have a Best by Date?
A: We use the international ISO format (ISO 8601) to address global date concerns with format YYYY-MM-DD. This will typically be found on the back of the package as a digitized printed number on the packaging or in an applied white label format.

Q: Do you have “lot” number tracking?
A: Yes. Typically, the lot number is next to the digitized printed date or on an applied white label with the date included.

Q: Do you support events and gatherings with your products?
A: We do our best to support non-profit organizations and animal advocates when we can. Please contact us at info@nativopet.com with your specific request and we’ll see how we can help.

Q: What are Chillin Chews?
A: Chillin Chews are single-ingredient proteins that are naturally delicious, grain and gluten free, ethically sourced and packaged in the USA. Freeze-dried fresh RAW protein ensures the highest quality and nutritionally balanced treat for your dog. Chillin Chews should be offered as healthy, positive training reinforcement intended for supplemental and intermittent feeding only and it’s always important to make sure and offer plenty of fresh water throughout the day for your dog’s proper hydration.

Q: What are Num Nums and how do you use them?
A: Num Nums are uniquely designed to be used as training nourishment, developed to strengthen the relationship you share with your dog. Num Nums are non-slimy, no crumble, freeze-dried and excellent as a high-reward positive reinforcement part of your dog’s daily training habits. All of our formulas are single-ingredient proteins with added superfood produce thoughtfully balanced by holistic veterinarian, Dr. Laurie Coger. Num Nums have zero fillers and all superfoods are natural, providing added benefits to your dog’s total health. Keep a bag at home and a bag in your car or carry with you in a bait bag. Using a clicker while training with Num Nums reinforces proper behavior with your dog. You can also fill interactive toys with Num Nums to provide mental enrichment or to simply thank your dog for good behavior throughout the day. Num Nums are intended for supplemental and intermittent feeding only and it’s always important to make sure an offer plenty of fresh water throughout the day for your dog’s proper hydration.

Q: How do I find calorie counts for each product offered?
A: We try our best to make sure a picture of the back label is visible on the marketplaces, but if you can’t see what you are looking for, please contact us at info@nativopet.com and we’ll respond with the answers quickly.

Q: Who is Dr. Laurie Coger?
A: Dr. Laurie Coger is an integrative and functional medicine veterinarian, as well as trainer, breeder and dog mom to 3 Australian Shepherds. Her mission is to guide owners down the natural dog care path, helping them to become educated and empowered advocates for their best friend’s health. Dr. Coger’s practice and dog care philosophy emphasizes natural methods and care. She regularly integrates chiropractic, low-level laser, herbal, nutritional, and physical therapy techniques into her treatment plans. She is an Honors graduate of Cornell University’s College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, majoring in Animal Science, with a special interest and advanced training in nutrition. She received her DVM degree from Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

A staunch advocate of raw, natural diets, Dr. Coger easily connected with Laura Nativo’s mission to formulate the perfect training treat, to compliment raw and fresh cooked diets. Laura’s passion for using only the best ingredients really spoke to Dr. Coger.

Q: What size are the Num Nums (nibs) and how many Num Nums (nibs) are there in a bag?
A: Num Nums (also referred to as nibs) are 3/8” in size on average. When we counted all proteins offered, the average number of nibs per 3 oz. bag was 285 pieces and per 14 oz. bag was 1,250 pieces per bag.

A: When we set out to create Nativo Pet Company, it was important to us to create a tagline that would memorably amplify the essence of the company. We wanted a clear voice and message that quickly got to the heart of who we are as a company and as dog lovers and owners ourselves. Love Doggedly is the tagline we came up with and we liked it so much we decided to use it as part of our social responsibility and giveback program. That’s why we highlight a non-profit per month to work with and their ongoing efforts to support our communities.

Q: What is the proper way to store freeze-dried products?
A: Freeze-dried products are best stored in a cool and dark place, safely out of the reach of your pets and children. Do not leave in places like your car dashboard. Refrigeration is not required, but for best results we recommend serving fresh within 30-days of opening the bag.
